I am looking for a home for a pre-war Majestic Model 71 Electric Receiver, which is a cabinet radio about 16 x 27 x 31.  It belonged to my father, who was a ham radio operator post war to about 1976 (VE4FS in Manitoba, and VE6XI in Alberta).  He rebuilt the chassis, which still turns on, though only very faint sound can be heard.

I am not trying to sell it, I am looking for someone who is interested in owning it and rehabilitating it.  We are downsizing preparatory to moving to a smaller house, and also are trying to alleviate the burden on our kids when the inevitable happens.

Would any of your members be interested in it?  I can always put in kijiji for free, but I would much rather someone who has an interest in radio owned it.
