CARA members enjoy a number of operations which gives members the ability to explore many aspects of the hobby.  

• We participate in numerous public Service Events and HAM events throughout the year.
• We also participate in numerous Car and Road rallies, some with their own Radio Recce (reconnaissance, reconnoitre) .  Follow these for details about what a Rally Volunteer needs to know.
• We have a world class fixed station with numerous towers and radio stations, including high-power Transceivers, Satellite station, EME station, and more.
• We operate a communications trailer that is used as both the Copmmand Center for most CARA events, such as the Car Rallies, as well as the hub of the Field Day adventures.
