Are you interested in getting your Amateur Radio Certification?
CARA likes to host both Basic and Advanced classes in the fall and winter. The Basic classes normally start in Sept and the Advanced classes start in January.
These classes are not required to get your certificate, but they do help you go through the study material, and also provide in-person explanations of all of the technologies and explain the exam questions.
NOTE: Due to some issues with getting a suitable location and also some volunteer burnout, we will are pausing the training schedule for this year, and pick it up again in 2025.
But if the class is not an option for you, what is a person to do to get their Amateur Radio Certificate?
Here are a few options:

4 - In addition, there are several community provided self-pace training websites that may be of interest.

Is getting an Amateur Radio Certificate difficult?
The Certification testing objectives and practice exams are available on line at the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada ISED website
