The latest firmware has really helped with overvoltage and SWR errors and even with 4w contacts. I have moved to a QMX+ which is better for the type of operation I do when I travel. 

I would urge anyone interested to review the operating manual for the QMX and the comments on the group.io site. 

With exchange and shipping from TA you are looking at $225 landed, plus a 4-6 month wait for factory built models.
