    "How to Make a Big Score: More QSOs and Multipliers

    Are Not Enough. Accuracy Still Counts!

    One of the fun things to do is to compare a station’s raw

    score with its final score. They rarely match. As you can imag-

    ine, most that do match are

    “small” logs. We found 1,085

    logs with no change from Raw to Final score. The

    “winner”

    is K8PGJ, who had the highest score and a

    “golden log.” He

    was #2 in Michigan in the AB-H-U category. Congratulations!

    But accuracy stretches far beyond the domain of

    “golden

    logs.” Many entrants are able to

    “move up a slot” in the rank- "

    SSB: March 24-25, 2018    Beginning Friday evening.

    We will enter the Multi-Operator Categories (All Band only): More than one person can contribute to the final score during the official contest period. Select category based on number of transmitted signals. 

    1. Single-Transmitter (MULTI-ONE): Only one transmitted signal is permitted at any time. A maximum of ten (10) band changes may be made in any clock hour (00 through 59 minutes). For example, a change from 20 meters to 40 meters and then back to 20 meters counts as two band changes. Use a single serial number sequence for the entire log. 

    a. High Power. Total output power of each transmitted signal must not exceed 1500 watts.

    this time we will again be using the Remotes

    E. All operation must take place from one station location. Remote operation is permitted if the physical location of all transmitters, receivers, and antennas are at one station location. A remotely operated station must obey all station license, operator license, and category limitations. The call sign used must be one issued or permitted by the Regulatory Authority of the station location.

    VE6AO has entered this contest almost every year and has received many   certificates for its class

    In 2011 we ranked 1st in Alberta multi operator  

    Time to do it again.
