I noticed several amateur's in the US using meteor scatter as a way to make 2m contacts during the most recent VHF contest.  I'm curious in what it would take to operate meteor scatter.

Has anyone locally had any experience with meteor scatter on any of the bands?  I plan on researching the topic further, however I wanted to see if there was any local participation using meteor scatter first?
