Reprise of CARA's popular annual winter dinner will be held Saturday, January 18 (revised), 2025 starting at 5:30 PM MST, at the Garden Court of the Glenmore Inn, 1000 Glenmore Court SE, Calgary, AB. This event is open to CARA members and their families, and also to all certified amateur radio operators and families.
Meet prior to the dinner starting at 4:00 PM, or earlier if desired, for drinks and cocktails at the Glenmore Inn's Elbow Room Lounge.
This is a full buffet dinner spread with turkey and roast beef carvery, salads, hot vegetables, bread, and desserts. This includes coffee, tea, and pop. Alcohol drinks are extra.
Everyone pays their own bill at their table. Final fees per person including GST and mandatory tip are:
Children 4-10: $15.90
Youth 11-17: $33.09
Adults 18-65: $36.78
Seniors: >65: $33.09

Bonus! During the buffet, we will be holding a gift exchange and we will be joined by a Special Guest, rested up from his round the world trip on Christmas Eve! To help him out, please bring a wrapped, unlabeled gift, value of up to $20, new or used, useful for a ham shack. It must be in working order - no boat anchors! Examples - a length of coax, some connectors, ferrite chokes, etc. Gifts can be kept or exchanged (you know the drill!). It will be fun to see what is brought in and how gifts are "exchanged".
