CARA Trailer Days **New Dates and Times**

CARA Trailer Days at Calgary Firearms Center near De Winton, AB

As you may know, our club is considering a new amateur station / remote location at the Calgary Firearms Center near De Winton, AB. Dave Cason has arranged with the gun club for CARA to operate our communications trailer on site from June 1st to June 3rd. This will be an opportunity to test the suitability of the site for HF operations and also for members to learn how to setup and use the club trailer.  Please mark your calendar and join in the fun.

Friday June 1st  Noon - 2pm
At about Noon the trailer will be dropped off by Peter, Dave will advise on setup location. If enough people are on hand it can be configured for operations. A great opportunity to learn how to setup our club trailer.  

Saturday June 2nd 10am - 2pm 
HF operations including testing the location for RFI, and testing the trailer's HF equipment. Depending on interest we may also re-setup the trailer and antennas, so others can learn. Tour of the gun club by Dave Cason will be given.

Saturday June 2nd, 2pm and afterwards
Possible BBQ, camp out and more, If interested RSVP with Dave Cason. 

Sunday Noon - Brunch 
Dave says it’s a great breakfast value, if interested in brunch RSVP with Dave Cason. After bunch, hams are welcome to make some more contacts. 

Sunday 3pm - Wrap up
Take down of equipment and Dave will return trailer to Calgary.
