At the January executive meeting funding was approved for the long-planned rebuilding and linking of the VE6AQA repeater at Fortress Mountain through Wildcat Hills VE6AUY to Calgary Nose Hill VE6RYC.  This will involve rebuilding the repeaters and adding digital links through CARAnet.  Repeater access will still be analog.  Equipment purchase and testing is already underway, and site installation will begin as soon as the snow melts.
