Unfortunately I missed the presentations on Tower regs at the CARA event last Saturday. I am wondering if there is a summary presentation?

My community of Canmore  local byelaws state 'Radio or other antennas, which exceed the maximum building height with any district, require a development permit. '

This seems contrary to the federal regulations and those previously noted in previous Calgary regs;  ....."amateur radio operators are not required, under federal regulation, to provide notification to either The City or the public for those amateur radio antenna support structures that meet the less than 15 metres in height federal provision. Therefore, a submission is not required in these cases"......

    Any advice?
