MEC Appreciation Night

    Thanks for the invitation. I just saw it randomly and I am glad - it is tomorrow :-)

    Perhaps for the next time: put the short date, e.g. Nov 27, 2015, into the title.

    As a gesture of appreciation for Calgary Regional ARES assisting with the Mountain Equipment CO OP(MEC) century bike ride this summer MEC are holding a shopping night for us.  The shopping night will offer 10% of most items in the store and is open to current members of CARA, FARS and CRARES since each group contributed to the events success (trailer/repeater/operators).  The night is on Friday November 27th at 7pm, members will need to stop in at the table out front to get a wristband which the tellers will know to apply the discount.  MEC is located downtown and has lots of great things for Christmas or personal shopping.
