Plans, Proposals, Projects & Elections

The final meeting before summer break is going to have a lot to see and do. There will be light refreshments provided.

Projects: The newly renovated station will be open for tours. Come and see the amazing amount of work put in to our world class station.

Proposals: The next project about to start is the work room. There will be a brief discussion on the work room proposal. You will be able to see the work room in person during the station tour. This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions about the work room proposal and get an understanding of the scope of work ahead.

There will be a brief discussion on the multimedia proposal being put together for the clubhouse hall.

Plans: This is the big one. The Calgary Sports Car Club has drawn up architectural plans for the massive renovation to the building. You will have the opportunity to see the changes coming to the building. This renovation is the largest undertaken since the building was moved to its present location.

There are also upgrades to the existing facilities as well. Some of the upgrades will be a joint CARA/CSCC venture. If you are at all curious about the future of the building, this is your chance to learn what the two clubs are working towards.

Elections: This is your chance to step in and take the helm of this club. After seeing all that is about to come, this is the ideal time to get in on the ground floor. CARA needs the next board to carry all these projects, plans and proposals across the line. The new board might need shades cause the future is very bright.
