With a heavy heart, John's widow, Gaynor, shares the news that her husband John Brookwell VE6TUG passed away 2024 June 29, one day after his 70th birthday, after a long battle with cancer. 

John was a longtime participant and contributor to the amateur radio community, participating in many public service events, and as the education coordinator for a number of years.

A celebration of John's life will be held 2024 August 17, Saturday, 3 PM, at the Spruce View Community Hall, in Spruce View, Alberta.  The address is 2127 AB-54, Spruce View, AB   T0M 1V0.
