To try and promote some 220 MHz use, I currently have an IRLP Node #3296 operating on simplex 223.55 Mhz 114.8 Hz Tone. I am located in NW Calgary with the radio connected to a beam pointed to the SE. If you have 220 MHz equipment feel free to give the node a try. I welcome any signal reports.

     Hi Andrew VE6EN
good to get some activity going on 220 MHz Band

I dug out my the ALINCO DJ-G29 witch I purchased used a few years ago now to give me a little more punch on the 1,25 meter band and also give me 900 meg capability.

It is programed for simplex 223.55 Mhz 114.8 Hz Tone.

I live on coach hill and have a clear shot at the 224.850 RYC repeater.

I will now start monitoring the repeater frequency daily

Hope I am withing range of your node.
