Basic Amateur Radio Class

Basic Amateur Ham Radio Course is scheduled for September 12 Start, 2022 at 6:45 PM
Place: Bowness Scout hall, 8551 Bowness Rd NW, Calgary, AB.

There will be 14 sessions every Monday evening until Dec19,  Note: there will be no class on Oct 10 for Thanksgiving. 

You can register by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page and paying online, or you can register the night of the class and pay by cash or cheque.

Cost: Regular tuition is $65.00. (Course fee only)
Students are required to provide their own Study Guide. 
Exam: Basic Qualification exam included, taken on the last evening

Note: The Canadian Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Study Guide must be purchased in Advance for the course.

Passing the Basic Qualification Exam (70% pass mark) is the starting point for becoming a ham, and it will get you "on the air" with access to many of the ham bands.
