Instead of a Meeting at CSCC we will have a net.

VE6AO will be looking for check ins starting at 1930 (7:30PM) on 14.143 Mhz

SSB AND CW will be recognized.

The purpose of the net is to

Discuss things to do at Club Station during the next 3 months

CW practice and tips

Plans for Field Day being held at The Military Museum

Any thing else that comes up.

Once we have a list we will put out calls on OTHER bands to check for others.

Also we will have stations in the different parts of the city relay in anyone not heard by VE6AO.

The DX Club encourages all types of activity on HF frequencies; from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz and point to point long distance operation is also pursued on the VHF and UHF bands. This is "traditional" Ham radio, and at meetings we discuss working DX, QSL cards, contesting, HF mobile radio, antennas, linear amplifiers and all the many things that go into successful HF operation. Our members are involved in SSB, CW, Slow Scan TV, RTTY and other digital modes.
