Instead of a Meeting at CSCC Lets have net.

VE6AO will be looking for check ins starting at 1930 (7:30PM) on 7.100 Mhz LSB

The purpose of the net is to fine out what conditions are like at this time of night for NVIS propagation in Calgary.

Once we have a list, we will have someone in the group to put out calls on 3750 and other bands to check for others.

Also we will have stations in the different parts of the city relay in anyone not heard by VE6AO.

The DX Club encourages all types of activity on HF frequencies; from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz and point to point long distance operation is also pursued on the VHF and UHF bands. This is "traditional" Ham radio, and at meetings we discuss working DX, QSL cards, contesting, HF mobile radio, antennas, linear amplifiers and all the many things that go into successful HF operation. Our members are involved in SSB, CW, Slow Scan TV, RTTY and other digital modes.
