CARATELS Tour of Stars Air Ambulance

Join us for a Field Trip to STARS Air Ambulance Service

CARATELS has booked a visit to STARS air ambulance base on Wednesday, June 5 @ 14:00 for 1 to 1.5 hours.

There are a few spaces available to CARA members.

The maximum group size is 20. To register, please e-mail Wilson at VA6JWL@gmail.com ASAP, as only a few spots for the tour are still available.

Base tours consist of the following: A chance to visit the helicopter, meet the pilots and air medical crew, a photo opportunity with the helicopter, visit the Emergency Link Center, and visit the Human Patient Simulation program.

The location is 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary. There is a paid parking lot available. It is OK to park in STARS signed spots if available.

Since the tour time is 14:00, we plan to meet for lunch at 12:30 at the nearby Tim Hortons at 1185 - 49 Ave NE, Calgary – just off McKnight at 12 Street.

We will be collecting a donation to STARS of $5 each the on day of the tour.
