The Central Alberta Radio Club in cooperation with the Red Cross and the County of Red Deer  will be conducting a set on April 9 2011 from approximately 1000 hrs untill 1400 hrs local.

W e would like to plan a thorough set including Calgary and Edmonton as net control stations when Red Deer goes off line during the set ,aprox 30 min each if possible.

comms used for the event will be the sara system as well as the caarc system linked into  irlp reflecrtor 9001 

 Secondary  frequencey will be 3.710 lsb 80 mtrs

The set will be based on a scenario of a anhydrous ammonia truck that has rolled over into a river due to a washed out bridge and is leaking , prompting an evacuation.
