CARA offers two classes a year, one in September and one in January. This class is based on the "RAC Study Guide for the Basic Exam."  An Advanced Radio Class and  a Code class are also offered when there is enough interest.

CARA has also held a HAM University. The HAM University is a one day event where various hams give hour long seminars on all kinds of amateur radio topics.
