DX Club Meeting - QRP Night !

DX Club Overview:
The DX Club focuses on traditional ham radio and activities at our club station. Members are interested in SSB, CW, and digital modes such as PSK31 and RTTY on the HF bands, also simplex communication using higher frequencies including satellites.

Next Meeting : QRP Night!

QRP  - In amateur radio, QRP operation refers to the use of low transmit power. It is really amazing to see the distances that can be covered with just a few watts or less.

Agenda:
1) Presentation by Goran, VE6GPO on the popular BitX QRP Radio Kit. A low cost full TX/RX SSB radio you build yourself.
2) Jim, VE6JF, will have a show and tell about a QRP radio is he is home brewing.
3) A few commercial QRP Radios will be shown such as the Elecraft KX3, Icom 703 and Yaesu FT817.

6) Upcoming Contests
